You will find within my blogs information and tools to help you live with chronic pain AND learn how to thrive. It takes time to believe that you can create the life you choose.
The same two questions popped up for me each time I found out I had a new chronic pain condition, “Can I do more than survive this pain each day? Will I ever thrive when I feel like I’m dying?” How can I live with chronic pain?
I physically and emotionally understand what you may be going through because I live with these chronic pain conditions:
So how do you go from just barely getting by to thriving? You may not even ask this question until after you have seen a specialist who says, “There is nothing more we can do for you except managing your pain medications.”
How do you live with chronic pain for the rest of your life? You don’t typically wake up one day and say, “I’m going to thrive.” Living with optimism takes work and a willingness to see other possibilities.
I have worked with enough clients and been in enough support groups to know that you probably have more than one disease. And you still want to be involved in life. Get out in the world. Be there for your partner, your kids, your friends, your parents, and your work. Do more than barely live with chronic pain. Thrive.
Why do I want to put this information out in the world?
Because you need easy access to tips and tools that reduce chronic pain. And mostly to give you hope, comfort, and the ability to know that you are not alone.
