Sites Talking About Pain Awareness Month

In honor of attention being focused on those who live with chronic pain, I thought I would make a quick list of sites that are concentrating on helping you improve your life!

American Chronic Pain Association – In 2001, the ACPA led a coalition to establish September as Pain Awareness Month and they succeeded.

The US Pain Foundation is having a Storyathon this month where pain warriors tell what it is like to live daily with persistent pain.

The Facial Pain Association – Focuses on facial pain like Trigeminal Neuralgia and finding a cure.

Johns Hopkins Medicine – Numerous credible resources for persistent pain diseases.

Osteoarthritis Action Coalition – Resources about Osteoarthritis.

I will stop here as you can look up your chronic disease and add Pain Awareness Month 2019 after it.

You Are Not Alone!

In doing your own search and seeing the many resources available, you may feel more supported than you have in a long time.

Hugs!
